Fries were tasty. My kids liked the corn dog pups. I didn’t love the taste of the elk patty on the elk burger but probably it’s just a lean meat and not ideal for a greasy roadside burger. This is not health food. It is mostly fried. If this is what you want, Alpen delivers.

Great menu, great prices, great little spots to sit and eat. Fresh food that was so tasty! We got the mushroom burger, also the coconut shrimp and chips with a chocolate malt. I forgot to take pictures of the food but I got plenty of the grounds surrounding it lol oh and a photo of the menu. They have a loud speaker they call your name on for the order so you won't miss it! The drive through is pretty tall too, I saw a truck hauling a truck on a high trailer pull through it. Definitely worth a stop if you're on your way to Leavenworth or where ever you're headed.

I really enjoy this place. The burgers and the fries are always really delicious and the folks that work here are really nice as well. Best place to eat coming back from a day in the central Cascades.

Leave driven by this place so many times and always wanted to try it. We go ally got the chance to do it and we were not disappointed! Alpen village may be a drive thru/drive in restaurant, but the flavors and food say otherwise! The food was tasty, the portions were great, the prices were affordable and the service was fast! Husband and I recommend if you are hungry and want to try something new. He had the pawns and oysters, while I had the chicken teriyaki burger. All the flavors blended so well and the staff were efficient and quick with our order. We also had the mozzarella sticks and onion rings. But the end of the meal we were stuffed and satisfied. Definitely recommend if you are driving by or nearby and want to try this place out!

Got take out but this has to be one of the best burgers I’ve had in WA! I got the deluxe burger with fries. The burger and fries were simple but absolutely delicious after a day skiing at Stevens. Would highly recommend instead of a fast food joint like McDonalds!

Alpen Drive-In in Startup is a great spot to grab a burger and shake, whether you’re coming down from the pass or heading over the mountains for the weekend. It’s been around forever, and there’s something nostalgic about stopping here. They used to have those old 3D maps of the mountain ranges posted by the parking lot, which was always fun to check out. The burgers are always solid—I haven’t had a bad one yet. The fries are great, and their tartar sauce is a must. It’s the kind of place that hits the spot every time. If you’re in the area and looking for a good roadside burger joint, I’d definitely recommend stopping by.

Blackberry milkshake was amazing! Zucchini fries were awesome but wish the ranch was a little more zesty. Burger was large for the price. Overall great post-hike stop!
